01/02/04 - The day after New Year's was 70 degrees outside, so I rolled the chassis out to give it a good cleaning underneath before I started bolting on the good stuff. I jacked one side up as far as it would go and soaked everything down with SuperClean (be sure to wear good rubber gloves when using that stuff, it'll make you feel like the skin is falling off of your hands). Then I used a borrowed power washer (thanks Dave!) to spray off several thousand miles of road crud from everywhere I could. I think I got more than half of it off and at now when I hammer on the car a lot less dirt ends up falling on the floor.

I did get a lot of strange looks from people driving by on the street, but none from my neighbors. They're used to seeing this sort of thing from me by now.
